Principle and structure of dry oil-free screw air compressor

Dry oil-free screw air compressor is a kind of equipment specially designed to provide oil-free, pure compressed air. It is widely used in industries with extremely high requirements for air quality, such as food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, electronic production, etc. The following are the working principles and structural characteristics of dry oil-free screw air compressor:

Working principle:

1.Inhalation process: When the rotor rotates, the tooth groove space of the yin and yang rotors reaches the opening of the intake end wall, and its space is the largest. At this time, the rotor tooth groove space is connected to the intake port, and the external gas is sucked in and enters the tooth groove of the yin and yang rotors along the axial direction.

2.Compression process: When the yin and yang rotors finish inhaling, their yin and yang rotor tooth tips will be closed with the casing, and the gas will no longer flow out of the tooth groove. As the rotor rotates, the gas in the tooth groove is pushed to the exhaust end, and the pressure gradually increases.

3.Exhaust process: When the meshing end face of the rotor turns to communicate with the exhaust port of the casing, the compressed gas begins to be discharged. Until the meshing surface of the tooth tip and the tooth groove moves to the exhaust end face, the tooth groove space is zero, and the exhaust process is completed.

Structural features:

1.Rotor design: Dry oil-free screw air compressors usually use screw rotors, which are composed of male and female screws. The two mesh with each other to compress the gas, and do not contact during the compression process to reduce wear.

2.Sealing system: To ensure that the compression chamber and lubricating oil are completely isolated, three seals are used: air seal, oil drain seal and labyrinth oil seal to ensure that the air supply is always 100% oil-free.

3.Cooling system: The main engine housing is designed with a unique oil cooling jacket, which controls the housing temperature through oil circulation and effectively reduces the exhaust temperature.

4.Material and coating: The screw rotor is made of stainless steel and sprayed with a super coating with high wear resistance and corrosion resistance to adapt to high temperature and high humidity operating environment.

5.Motor configuration: Uses highly efficient and energy-saving permanent magnet variable frequency motor and fully sealed liquid cooling design to improve motor efficiency and achieve maintenance-free.

6.Air-water separator: equipped with a large-capacity air-water separator to remove condensed water in the compressed air and extend the life of the main engine.

7.Control function: With interlocking control function, it allows multiple compressors to be connected to achieve alternating or follow-up operation.

8.Adaptability: Designed to be highly adaptable and maintain high efficiency over a wide range of operating conditions.

9.Easy maintenance: The structure is designed with easy maintenance in mind, although some parts replacement may require special tools and expertise.

10.Custom designs: Custom product designs are available for challenging operating environments such as high altitudes, extreme temperatures, excessive humidity or high dust levels.
