The application of air compressor in desulfurization and denitrification is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

1.Provide power source: The air compressor provides the necessary compressed air power for the desulfurization and denitrification system. In many desulfurization and denitrification processes, compressed air is used in pneumatic control equipment, instrument control, gas delivery and other links to ensure the stability and efficiency of the production process.

5.Electron beam irradiation method: In the electron beam irradiation method, the air compressor may be used to provide the vacuum environment required by the electron beam accelerator, irradiate the flue gas through the electron beam, generate a large number of active substances, oxidize SO2 and nitrogen oxides in the flue gas to SO3 and NO2, and further generate H2SO4 and nitric acid, which are absorbed by the absorbent.

6.Charged dry absorbent injection desulfurization method: The air compressor is used to spray an electrostatically charged absorbent in this method to improve the desulfurization efficiency.

7.Activated carbon adsorption method: The air compressor may be used in the activated carbon adsorption method to provide power to push the flue gas through the activated carbon bed to achieve SO2 adsorption and catalytic oxidation.

8.Metal oxide desulfurization: In metal oxide desulfurization, an air compressor may be used to provide power to promote the contact and reaction of the flue gas with the metal oxide absorber.
